ABOUT

A small studio,
since 2000.

Deve Apps is one person — Alper, working from Turkey, building tools that earn their place on your home screen.

The story

I started building things on the web in 2000. PHP and MySQL, mostly — small tools that solved one problem cleanly. LatLong.net went live in 2012 and quietly grew into a site used by millions of people every year. No ads. No accounts. Just one job done well.

A few years later, I started building Android apps. Native, no frameworks, no bloat. Then iOS — SwiftUI, SpriteKit, the whole stack. Each app the same idea: solve one thing, do it offline, respect the user.

Somewhere along the way, the web turned into a place where every page tracks you, every app pushes notifications, and every "free" thing has a hidden cost. I didn't want to build that. So I kept making things the slow way — by hand, one at a time.

What I believe

🛠

Made by hand

No frameworks for the sake of frameworks. No dependencies I don't understand. Software you can read top to bottom.

🤫

Quietly useful

Apps should help you and get out of the way. No notifications. No engagement loops. No dark patterns.

🚫

Privacy by default

Not as a feature — as the foundation. The fastest way to protect data is to never collect it.

🐢

Slow is fine

I release apps when they're ready. One a year, maybe two. Quality beats quantity, always.
