Who we are
Deve Apps is an independent studio building mobile applications (iOS & Android) and small web tools. Our brand and website is deve.net. You can reach us anytime at app@deve.net.
By downloading, installing, or using any Deve app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.
What our apps are for
Each Deve app does one thing well and is intended for general, personal, informational, and educational use. Measurement-style apps (such as sound level, compass, or calculator tools) give helpful everyday readings, but they depend on your device's hardware.
Our apps are not professional or certified instruments. Readings may differ from calibrated equipment. Please don't rely on them for legal, medical, occupational safety, financial, or any decision where accuracy is critical.
Advertising
Some Deve apps are free and supported by advertising. Where ads appear, they are served through Google AdMob. By using an ad-supported app, you understand that:
- Advertisements will be displayed within the app.
- Ad providers may collect limited data — such as device and advertising identifiers — to deliver and measure ads.
- On Apple devices, you may be asked for permission to track activity. If you decline, you'll still see ads, but they'll be less personalized.
How this data is handled is explained in our Privacy Policy and in Google's policies. Not every Deve app contains ads — many are fully offline with no advertising at all.
Your data
Anything you create inside an app — saved measurements, favorites, settings — is stored locally on your device unless a feature clearly states otherwise. We don't run accounts or sign-ins, and we don't collect your personal content. The only third-party data handling is the advertising described above, in ad-supported apps.
How you may use the apps
You're granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Deve apps for their intended purpose. Please don't:
- Copy, resell, rent, or redistribute the apps.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify them, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Use them in any unlawful way or to harm others.
- Interfere with the advertising or attempt to circumvent it through unauthorized means.
No warranty
Our apps are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise that an app will be accurate, error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. You use it at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deve Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our apps — including decisions made based on a reading the app provided.
App stores
Apps distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play are also subject to those platforms' terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for the apps or these terms, and are not parties to this agreement.
Children
Our apps are suitable for general audiences. Ad-supported apps are not directed at children under 13, and we configure ad settings accordingly where required.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use an app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
